Customs: new standards for electrical equipment

On March 3, 2022, the European Commission published an implementing decision on new standards in order to meet current safety requirements.

 

These new standards, added to Annexes I, IB and II of the decision, cover the following goods:

  • cover plates and cover tapes
  • luminaires
  • electrical accessories
  • powertrack systems, circuit breakers
  • electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use
  • resistance welding equipment.
