STIEBEL ELTRON FRANCE Entrusts Its Logistics to DIMOLOG

Since June 2024, the French subsidiary of STIEBEL ELTRON, based in Metz, and a European leader in renewable energy heating and domestic hot water systems, has chosen to entrust its logistics to DIMOLOG, the logistics business unit of DIMOTRANS Group.

“We first met STIEBEL ELTRON in 2023. Following this initial contact, we conducted an analysis of their needs, including a geographical study of the center of gravity in relation to the location of their distributors. Based on these elements, we were able to build a tailor-made service offer for STIEBEL ELTRON to meet their customer promise,” says Stéphane Hernandez, Development Director of DIMOLOG.

“The client, then in a phase of development on the French market, was looking for a partner capable of supporting this sustained growth with:

• Flexible and scalable storage capacities,
• Adapted WMS*,
• A service level that meets the requirements of STIEBEL ELTRON and its distributor customers,
• And also a distribution network in France,” continues Stéphane Hernandez.

“On the operational level, DIMOLOG ticked all the boxes: beyond our ability to manage the seasonality of products with flexibility in our storage areas in shared warehouses, the DIMOTRANS Group’s Logistics Business Unit has had many years of expertise in the HVAC sector,” adds Serge Alligier, Director of the AURA and IDF logistics hubs at DIMOLOG.

Stéphane Hernandez concludes, “Our specific know-how in organizing complex transports (by appointment, on site), with, of course, the necessary accreditations for storing refrigerants and our ability to adapt to regulatory changes, were also determining factors in our collaboration.”
